撮合人人發生(正)不正當的關係  // la- pí tiáo

入夜，紅橙黃綠青藍紫色的燈箱蔓延上海街，邊扯煙邊爆粗的紋身大哥、等客拉客的陀地北方與異國佳麗、似是等人實是昅女的嫖客……種種社會邊緣人常出入於這個老舊與複雜的紅燈區，時刻為交易作準備。

性工作是人類最古老的一個行業，它源自人類的渴望。性於傳統社會長久被視為禁忌，雖不至完全羞於啟齒，但卻不能公開談論，是次請來上海街雙性工作者單對單探討有性或無性種種自身與社會題目。

After nightfall, colorful lights pervade Shanghai Street. Tattooed men are walking about, smoking and swearing; local and foreign beauties are waiting around, soliciting. There are people loitering and taking peeks... A wide range of marginalized people pervade the demographic in this old and complicated red-light district, and are prepared to engage in exchanges at any time. Sex work (prostitution) is one of the oldest professions and originates from instinctual desires.

Sex has long been a taboo in traditional society and is not openly discussed. lā pí tiáo (verb) means to be a pimp; work as a pimp. In this one-to-one performance, a bisexual sex worker will be invited to verbally engage the audience in sexual and/or nonsexual matters in relation to oneself and social issues.

Ali WONG is a MFA Candidate of Yale University School of Art, a conceptual artist and an independent curator. She is interested in how the body occupies the space between cultures, and is obsessed with the encountering the mysterious and the unknown. She constantly worries that the sky will fall down. 「沒有人坐的櫈，就只是死物不是櫈，有人使用，它的生命才開始。」本週六，劉學成將會把他手製的流動百年老店「學成號雜貨」，由荷李活道帶到上海街，收集不同物品。歡迎街坊到來跟他以物易物，交換社區故事。

Come to Woofer Ten this Saturday and join Hanison Lau in his handmade century-old shop Hok-shing Grocery! Hanison will bring the Grocery from Hollywood Road to Shanghai Street, collecting used objects and stories from local residents. Come and exchange something with him!

畢業於澳洲皇家墨爾本大學，2005年取得藝術學士學位，2007年完成藝術碩士課程。自2003年起，積極參與多個本地聯展；2006 及2008年香港在舉辦了「規律——劉學成個人行動」、「詩前想後」及「乞泉齋內的水動山靈」三次個人展覽。 2007年被選為香港藝術推廣辦事署「藝遊鄰里計劃」的推介藝術家之一，2008年於美國波特蘭參與駐場藝術創作，曾於2004及2005年兩度入選「夏利豪基金會藝術比賽」。現為香港藝術學院兼任講師。
Independent artist, and also Lecturer at the Hong Kong Art School. He received a bachelor degree of arts (Fine Art) from the RMIT University in 2005 and received a master Degree in Fine art at RMIT in 2007. He was selected one of the highlighted artists by the Hong Kong Art Promotion Office in the Artists in Neighbourhood Scheme II 2008. He took part in the Artist in residence project in Portland, USA in 2008. In the last few years, he has been exhibiting his works extensively in USA, Australia , mainland China and Hong Kong, and his work has been collected locally and internationally.

從上海街一號到七百三十號，我看到這些「掛著」的生活氣息；我愛舊街道，這裏令我想起我在皇后大道東唐八樓居住時，在天台曬衣服的日子。我愛舊事物，這裏有「利工民」── 那啡色，那只鹿，那老實的賣相；我想起小時侯，媽媽在冬天時不斷喊著要我以它「打底」。在香港大半個世紀的她，大概從不知道有H&M，亦不知道上海街有朗豪坊。Sense of Place，對一個地方的感知，也許就是這樣一回事吧。我會收集一些的舊衣物，穿上，想想……一條真正的街，生活的實感。

I walked pass from no.1 to no.730 in Shanghai Street, back and forth. I love authentic street scene and old things there, which remind me a lot about my personal history. 'Sense of Place' -- a real street, a sensational district, not about a single fancy shopping mall, but the varieties of local activities, living patterns and sceneries that grow genuinely and organically there. Collecting old clothes, I wear them inside the display window; I observe the street and look at people passing by… through bodily action, to sense the sense of place.-- ivy ma

表面多心，由裝置到攝影到繪畫；但對她來說，其實是同一樣的事。

九八年前 從未留心上課 專心做一件事；九六年 大學畢業 從事新興網絡行業 不想上班；九八年 工作以外時間，修讀純藝術，學會專心一意；零一年 拿獎學金到英國進修一年 ；零三年 於本地藝術機構工作 仍不太想上班；零四年 間中教書 起初難以適應；零五年 開始頗頗出國，找寧靜的創作空間，亦接觸大自然；零八年 得獎項到美國實習及遊歷一年；零九年 回港 不想再出走 專心創作 尋找心中的自然國度。

Ivy MA attained her BA (Fine Arts) degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) / The Art School in 2001 and the MA degree in Feminist Theory and Practice in the Visual Art University of Leeds, UK in 2002. She received the FCO Chevening University of Leeds Scholarship from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council in 2001. In 2008, she was awarded a one-year fellowship ( Lee Hysan Foundation Fellowship) from Asian Cultural Council.
